Key Features

Designed to balance cost, speed, and accuracy without compromise.

Outstanding Cost Performance

Pay only for what you actually use. Running costs stay dramatically lower than flat-rate voice input services. Offline mode means zero AI usage fees.

Available Offline

No internet required. Choose from multiple AI engines for fully local processing, and handle confidential information safely on your own machine without AI usage fees.

Translation and Multilingual Support

Cloud-based online translation and fully offline translation that works without internet. Supports Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and more.

Control AI Precisely

Improve recognition with a custom user dictionary for specialized terms. Custom instructions and automatic misrecognition removal give you full control over output quality.

Direct Input Into Any App

Works with Notepad, Slack, Word, IDEs, and more. Text is inserted directly into the active window, so there is no copy-paste step.

Auto Formatting by App Type

Detects the active app such as email, chat, notes, or code, then formats text in the most suitable style. Transcription and translation settings can also be customized per category.

Pricing Plans

Keep app fees low and separate them from AI usage fees. Pay only for what you use.

Why Is It Cost Effective?

Most AI voice input products charge high monthly subscriptions.
Voice Scribe separates a low app fee from pay-as-you-go AI usage costs.
Light months stay cheap, heavy months stay close to cost.
Offline mode eliminates AI usage fees entirely.

License Notes

  • A license is tied to one device (PC). Activation is done via email address.
  • You can re-activate on a different device using the same email address.
  • Purchasing the One-time plan immediately cancels your active Subscription.
  • The Free plan includes transcription, text formatting, hotkeys, auto-paste, and the widget with no time limit. Translation, dictionary, history, and app-specific settings are unlocked with the Subscription or One-time plan.

How To Use

Four simple steps from launch to text input.

1

Speak into the microphone, then press Ctrl + Shift + Space again to stop recording. The transcribed text is automatically typed into the active app.

FAQ

Another application, such as Microsoft PowerToys, may already be using the same hotkey (`Ctrl + Shift + Space`). Find the conflicting application and change its hotkey setting.

The microphone may not be connected, or your OS privacy settings may be blocking Voice Scribe from accessing it. First, check that your microphone is properly connected. If it is, open Windows `Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone` and allow microphone access for both apps and desktop apps.

The API key is likely missing, invalid, or expired, so cloud AI processing fails. Open Settings, go to the AI Model tab, and enter a valid API key. If the issue continues, regenerate the key or check your billing status with your API provider.

If errors keep appearing even though your API key is correct, you may have reached your cloud AI usage limit or your billing may not be configured. Check your API provider's usage and billing pages to confirm credits, payment settings, and limits.

If microphone input is too quiet, the recording is too short, or the audio cannot be recognized, the audio is discarded and no text is inserted. Move closer to the microphone, speak clearly, and increase input volume in your OS sound settings if needed. In push mode, keep holding the hotkey until you finish speaking.

Translation, dictionary, history, and app-specific settings are exclusive to the paid plans (Subscription or One-time). To unlock them, purchase the Subscription or One-time plan from the license screen. If a payment error occurs, it may be due to invalid card details or an unstable network, so review your card details and network connection, then try again. If your license does not activate after purchase, confirm that the email address used at checkout is correct.
